The non-vented mask is designed for ventilators which have integral safety valve (active exhaust system). Suitable for Evita Series, Savina (both with NV option) and Carina. The vented mask include an exhalation port to provide adequate flow to wash out exhaled CO2 and is suitable for ventilator with continuos positive airway pressure without active exhalation system.
